Overview
Our Quantitative Trading (QT) programme is our full-time, entry-level programme that marks the start of an exciting and fast-paced career working in one of the world's leading quantitative trading firms.

As a QT in our Dublin office, you'll benefit from our in depth education programme, which is designed to help you become a successful trader. We have a team of senior traders focused full time on your development, which we believe truly sets us apart from other firms. We'll start from the basics, so don't worry if you don't have a finance background - we'll teach you!

Our education complements the experience that you'll get working on real trading scenarios with senior traders. A mentor and team lead will guide you through the initial months and expose you to increasingly complex trading decisions and strategies until you're ready to manage these yourself.

Who You Are:

A Problem Solver. You enjoy solving puzzles, and love it when you discover a solution to a difficult problem. You’re not afraid to discuss ideas and work with others to find the optimal solution.

Ambitious. You’re someone that enjoys setting personal goals, and you give your all to achieve them. Be it in Arts, Sports, Academics or another passion you have, you’re not afraid to put in the effort to reach your full potential.

A Communicator. You enjoy building relationships with those you work closely with. You enjoy sharing ideas, expressing your thoughts and listening to the views of others.

Numerical & Logical. When it comes to decision making, you use clear and sound reasoning. You’re rational, and like to use numbers and data to come up with sensible solutions.

Curious: You’re excited by a career in Quantitative Finance, specifically Trading. You are interested in learning how to apply your personal skills in this industry.

What’s in it for you:

Education: Throughout the programme you’ll have classes covering a vast range of topics (Finance, Options, Mock Trading, Game Theory, Tech, Trader Talks, Poker, Speaker Seminars, In-house trading games… the list goes on!) from some of the most experienced employees in Susquehanna.

Development: Everyone on the QT programme is paired with a Senior Trader, who’ll mentor you throughout the programme. You will work with people who share a passion for mathematics, problem-solving, game theory and technology.

Decision Making: Learn how to make great decisions on and off the desk. We use strategy games, like poker and several in-house games we’ve developed, to learn how to leverage game theory to make better decisions in the financial markets. We teach our QTs the skill of making rational decisions in an environment of uncertainty, and how we use game theory to gain an edge over the market.
